MaxFilament TPU 40D is an industrial FLEX filament with medium hardness and high mechanical resistance. Appropriate selection of MAX TPU 40D formulation makes the material chemically resistant to various fats and solvents, including automotive fluids. Its formulation was developed for increased stiffness while maintaining very low shrinkage, high adhesion between layers and high impact resistance.

MaxFilament 40D retains its properties under load at low and high temperatures. It can be successfully exposed to UV radiation and various weather conditions. The material is commonly used for the production of flexible components, such as gaskets, guards, bumpers, spacers and shock pads. It will prove suitable for the manufacture of components that will be subjected to high stresses and deformations in the construction assumptions.

Carbon fibre reinforced elastomer thermoplastic. With this filament, you can print flexible objects, with high printing quality. The incorporation of carbon fibres offers improved properties, high tensile strength, high heat tolerance and greater chemical resistance compared to unreinforced TPUs.  The surface hardness is Shore 67D.

In addition, carbon fibre gives it electrical conductivity, making it ideal for applications that require protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD).
